Volunteer Chair/Honoree Coordinator
Regina M. Jackson was born and raised in Connecticut. Currently employed by the State of New Jersey as an Investigator, Ms. Jackson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Southern Connecticut University. Since 2012 she has been a member of the African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County.
A member of the Galilee Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey, Ms. Jackson has served as Vice President of the Usher Board since 2014. In addition to other church and community related volunteer opportunities, she is a member of the Executive Board for CWA Local 1033 serving also as Chairman of the CWA Equity Committee. She also serves as an Executive Board member of the New Jersey Central Labor Council. The New Jersey Ushers Council and The Order of Eastern Stars #22 are other organizations where Ms. Jackson serves as a member.
Since becoming a member of the TAACC, Ms. Jackson has assumed the role of Volunteer Chair and Honoree Coordinator. In that capacity she is charged with ensuring that each event is staffed with the appropriate number of community volunteers to ensure events are efficient, safe and cost effective. Her responsibilities also include nomination, notification and presentation protocol for all community members and organizations that are honored by TAACC.
Her motto in this life is, “If I continue to keep God First in all my endeavors, I can’t fail. To Him I give all the glory.” Ms. Jackson is the mother of one son and two grandchildren.
